Senior Students
There are two music specific related scholarships available to senior students at Blue Springs High School each year.
Blue Springs Music Booster Scholarship
The Blue Springs Music Boosters provides two annual scholarships to senior students. Two $500 scholarships are awarded to two different Blue Springs High School students each year. The family of these students must be a "dues paid" member of the Blue Springs Music Boosters. Applicants must be a member of any of the High School Performing Music Ensembles (band, choir, or orchestra). The student must be in the top 50% of academic performance in their class. Two letters of recommendations are required. And a minimum 250 word essay must be included. The deadline for submission of this application is typically late February. Amy K Gulley Scholarship
The Amy K Gulley Golden Regiment Scholarship provides one annual scholarship to senior student. One $500 scholarship is awarded to to a Golden Regiment member each year. The student must notated honors and awards, community service and volunteering, and work and job experience on the application. A short essay must be included about how the active involvement in the BSHS marching band has been beneficial in the student's life. And two letters of recommendation (one from the BSHS staff) must be included. The deadline for submission of this application is typically late February.
