The Music Technology course at Blue Springs High School allows students to explore career possibilities in areas like live sound production and recording.  

 

Through a cooperative partnership through the University of Central Missouri students at the Career Innovation Center will get hands on experience using audio equipment like microphones, mixing equipment, and speakers.  They'll learn about components work together.  And they'll develop technical skills in the operation of music technology products.

 

This is a growing career field in which students that have a passion for music can continue their interest if they're not looking for the traditional path of music education or performance.
