This special commemorative limited edition t-shirt has been designed to support Elizabeth Puyear in her fight against metastatic breast cancer.  There is a very special evening planned for her at the upcoming Parent Preview event in August in which this shirt will play an integral part.  
 
We're asking for all students, parents, and family members that are going to be attending the Parent Preview event to consider purchasing one of these t-shirts.  We have received generous donations to help cover the printing costs for these t-shirts.  That ensures that 100% of the sales of these shirts will be profit in which we will be presenting Elizabeth Puyear with a check to help cover her medical expenses during her difficult time. We've purposely priced this shirt lower than other shirt designs at $15 to ensure that we can get as much support as possible from all students, parents, and family members.  
 
Sales of at least 450 shirts (250 for students and 200 for parents and family members) would allow us to present her with a check for over $5,000.  This is our chance to make a significant impact on Elizabeth's fight by removing the burden she might experience in travel and other medical expenses.  And it shows her that we as a band family are there to help her through this difficult fight.  
 
In order to make the presentation to Elizabeth special, we're looking for 100% fulfillment to all the students specifically.  If your student cannot afford this shirt, please reach out to me individually at friendsofgr.manager@gmail.com.  
 
Parents and family members are not required to purchase the shirt.  But please note that the more we have with it, the more dramatic the impact will be in showing our support for her in both the money raised and the visual demonstration.  If you're attending the Parent Preview, I would encourage you to purchase a shirt for yourself as well.  
 
The shirt design includes a special message that "In this family, no one fights alone."  The back of the shirt will include a scanned copy of all the student's signatures (being coordinated in secret during band camp).  
 
Here is the plan for the presentation to Elizabeth at the upcoming Parent Preview event on August 13th:
 
Shirts for students will be delivered prior to their rehearsal.  They will take the shirts to the stadium in carry-out sacks so that Elizabeth won't see them.  They will be instructed by the staff to change into the t-shirts at the water break prior to the parents entering the stadium.
Shirts for parents and family members will be delivered in the parking lot prior to gates being opened for parent preview.  We would ask that you allow time to pick-up your shirt prior to the gates opening and either put the shirt on top of what you're wearing or visit one of the restrooms in the building to change.
When parents and family members enter the stadium, the intention is that Elizabeth Puyear will be suprised with a complete show of support for her fight.
At the end of the Parent Preview, Dr. Allshouse will ask the parents to join their students on the field.  At this time, we'll ask everyone to gather closely together in their shirts for a special overhead picture to be taken that will be printed, framed, and displayed in Elizabeth's office.
There will also be a special presentation to Elizabeth of a check for the amount raised for this project.  Please note that if you wish to make an additional donation above and beyond the purchase of this shirt, you can do so by selecting an amount on this product listing.  Those funds will be given directly to Elizabeth.  For donation amounts greater than $100, please reach out to Tim Caton at friendsofgr.manager@gmail.com to arrange a method of payment.  
There may be local media coverage of this event as well.  This is why it is even more important for us to show the strong support our community has for an amazing educator that has touched so many student's lives.  
 
Again, this project is to be kept TOP SECRET.  We do not want to take away from the dramatic impact of suprise in showing our support for her.  So, please make sure this is not discussed around Elizabeth.
